TJ maxx is SWEET!

So, I've been wanting to get a little red table for Payton's room ever since the little kitchen arrived, but I didn't know where to find one that I loved AND was affordable. Well, lo and behold, if there wasn't the perfect "pinky red" table glowing there in the middle of TJMAXX! It was perfect. I'm not usually one to find the gem in stores like that, so this was so rare. I brought it home to Payton and she totally freaked with glee! I haven't really seen this smile on her yet, and it was priceless. She was smiling so hard I thought her face might break. It was completely satisfying. I know, this may sound trivial to some, but finding that little table has been the highlight of my week so far. Wait...is that embarrassing?!

lately...

The past couple weeks were tough with Jared working so hard/much, but we seemed to have survived. After about 5 mins of sitting on the couch after work, this is how I found the poor guy! (Even fast alseep he is such a hottie!) Luckily, Kai and Payton only had a few tantrums each and I only felt hopeless and desperate about 4 times. All in all, we all made it through the busy wks still loving each other! Phew!

Back to the Beach

Finally, we got to hit the beach again. It has been so hot lately that no one has wanted to go. Me included! With great weather and school back in, it was a perfect day to go. Kai was haming it up for me and it was much appreciated. The scary thing is he is reminding me too much of myself. While cleaning up to go I wrapped Payton in a towel, and when I turned around to check on her she was headed out on her own. It was hilarious. I think she looks like YODA!
