Payton's bedhead...could it be any better?


There really is no big meaning to this post except that I just love these pictures. Both of them were taken not even trying for a "classic" shot and that is what I got. This one of Kai is from the park and his pose looks like he (or I) were trying. Just luck here. It was one of many where I was saying, "Kai just look up and smile...PLEASE! Over here!" (ok, MAYBE I was trying...) And, the one of Payton really speaks for itself. I just couldn't believe how funky her "do" was so I had to immortalize it. I had just gotten her up and I had to grab the camera in a hurry and take a self portrait of us (I cropped myself out due to just getting out of the shower...ie my shoulder).
Don't you just love those keeper shots that were just by chance? Lucky!
I say everyone should pull up a couple of "lucky" shots and share them with everyone else. I wanna see...

Laura celebrated her 28th birthday yesterday, and it really was a treat for all involved. There were about 11 girls in all for dinner at Javiers and it was fantastic! I had never been there before ( I might be the only one) and it lived up to it's hype. Probably the best guac I've ever had. The company was great and just an all around perfect group to spend an evening with. I don't get in alot of girls nights out, so this was so needed and extra special cause it was Laura's b-day. After dinner we all walked and got a Golden Spoon and dished about fun times. Most of these girls grew up with Jared so I just LOVE hearing about him back in the day. (I would've loved him then, too.) Finally, it was getting late and we were getting tired and giddy...at least I was. I love hanging out with the girls and it was a wonderful night! Thanks, Laura, for spending your birthday with us!
