It seems as though Summer has gotten here a few months early. There really isn't anything greater than being able to go to the beach in the middle of February. I always say that the mortgage that sucks us dry every month isn't just for our humble little home (w/o a yard). It's for the amazing area, beach, weather, etc. SO, Today was a beautiful 80 degrees and without skipping a beat we were off to Shaw's Cove! It could not have been any nicer (minus the construction going on behind us)!
First of all, are these not the cutest little bums you've ever seen? These pics were actually taken while we were "trying" to clean-up. While stripping the babies of their sandy bathing suits...a photo opp occurred!

Peyton R, Payton B, & KateI really think we live in the greatest place on earth! I love this town. We first got to the beach around 10:30 am and it was perfect. Cool, but sunny. It ended up getting pretty warm and I do think I am a bit pink now. I'm not complaining...I love it!!
All the kids had such a blast running and playing in the sand and sea. I am really enjoying the fact that both my kids can play and I can just sit back and watch...most of the time. It is so fun to see them with their friends in this environment. I love that their childhood memories will be filled with days like this one.
Payton had a death grip on this watering can! She loved carrying it around. Good thing for me it made for a cute prop!
