Last night was pretty P's baby shower! This is her 5th little baby and 4th girl in a row. But, darn it all, if that girl totally still deserves a night of honor!!! She is one of the hardest working, most giving, tries to help everyone else, is always there to listen, did I say giving, selfless people I know. All of her friends completely agreed that we should "shower" her w/ affection. Melissa was so awesome and totally organized a sweet night out. So, last night we all headed out to THE LOFT at THE MONTAGE RESORT in Laguna Beach. Let me say, that place is pimp and the food was amazing. It was such a fun evening out with friends and we laughed a lot. I am one to go to bed pretty early (as people like to tease me about), so around 7:30-8pm I was getting pretty giddy and the giggling was a plenty. Suddenly, I heard Summer say:
"Jon Bon Jovi just walked by!"
Me: "What you said?" (as Kai or some of my other friends kids would say)
Summer: "He just walked by! I'm texting Bryan right now"
We all got our phones right then and text our husbands thinking it was all way too cool. He slowly walked by our table about 4 or 5 times to go to the restroom. That guy pees A LOT!!! Anyhow, some of the girls were relentless and found him coming out of the restroom, snagging a quick pic with the rock star. LUCKY! It was all very exciting.
It was such a fun night and I am so glad we got to go out and make Patience feel adored and special cause she is! Congrats on your pretty baby #5!!! I love you, P!
