I'm a tad scared to write this with the fear that I'm ginxing myself...I am loving the age of 4 the most so far. I really had a hard time with 3 and was anxious for it to be over. But, good news folks, it seems that 4 is just that much closer to a reasonable, understanding human being. Kai still has his moments, for sure, but instead of taking 6 months for him to get over a new behavioral problem - it takes about 3-4 wks. He can process and think a little bit before he acts and that makes a HUGE difference. With that said, today will probably be an all time hard day with him, but he deserves some props, I think. Not to be corny, but he is really a good, passionate little boy. More than anything, he has become a little Momma's boy in the past year or so. His first two years of life he was obsessed (understatement) with Jared, and he didn't care for me too much. it was rejection central for me. LAME! But now, we have the relationship I have always wanted with him. Please don't think I don't lose it with him daily, but on the whole he gives me a million cute, funny and proud things to reminise (sp) about each day. Nice work, Kai! You are a cutie pie!

I totally agree with you! My 4 yr. old is the best. The 2 boys are only 14 months apart, but there's a huge developmental difference between them. I can tell that Jake (the younger one) doesn't have a lot of the concepts down that Ty has. I guess a lot happens between 3 and 4. And yes, I am pregnant! Due in April.
I love that picture. Four is awesome. I am so glad that he is four. Now I have Ella and her Three to looks forward to. I dont know if I am going to make it through!
I think 2 was hard for me and thats how I felt when Taylor turned 3. The older they get the more you love them. When they can communticate their love in words it's so much fun.
I can't wait for Taylor to turn 4! WOohoo, I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up though.
ps. I'm so freaking sore right now, good thing I'm not running tomorrow!:)

How cute is "Your Lover's" comment? OK- that picture of you two is great! Kai is for sure a mix of you & Jared. This was a great post for me to hear b/c lately Haven has been a bit sassy and difficult. Can't wait for January when she will turn 4!!!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again...your kids are adorable. I only wish I could see you guys more often. I'm stressed thinking that 3 will be so difficult. I think right now is so tough because Malia is having some serious sleep issues. We're actually taking her to a specialist next week. She doesn't sleep, so that makes the whole day miserable. Don't get me wrong, she's good a lot, but then there are those moments. I'm just hoping this sleep thing gets fixed sometimes soon. I loved your thoughts on both Kai and Peyton.
That is such a cute picture of you two...ahhh how cute is Jared's comment. Sweet. I like hearing you talk about Kai, he reminds me of Bennett, and now i can't wait for him to grow up a little bit. I'm over the behavioral problems taking so long to get over.
