Well, it seems as though Easter has come and gone and we have the roll of photos to prove it. This holiday is probably one of my favorites for picture taking, I must admit. All the colors and themes, what not. With much anticipation, I laid out the kids Easter wardrobe. I warned Jared that even though we may be rushing off to church, I would be taking pictures of the kids out front before we left. Getting "the shot" isn't AS important to him as it is to me, so I had to prepare him that I would be relentless. (I have this theory that if you admit you are being annoying then it's more forgivable.) Anyhow, the kids were finally dressed and ready to go and I started snapping away. My one wish was that Payton would just look at the camera already. Every time I was ready to take the perfect pic she would notice me and immediately turn away, run away, turn around, etc. What is up with that?!! I mean, really...it was exhausting. Kai, on the other hand, would smile and cheese it up for me. Gotta love him! In the end, I didn't get the picture I had imagined in my mind... Kai and Payton holding hands, grasping their baskets that were neatly filled with eggs, smiling with their eyes open and looking right at me, all the while standing in front of some lush green trees and bushes. The funniest part about that scenerio is that I really thought I was going to get that shot. If I look on the bright side, I most likely got one of those elements in each of the 25 pictures I took. :) It was a great day and we really had a great time with our family. Hope everyone else had a great day, too, and maybe got the picture they were trying for!

Your pictures are beautiful. Your kids are seriously so darling. I love Kai's hair. It reminds me of Jared's, only straight and really blonde. Peyton's curls are just to die for.
could your kids be any cuter! I love their little easter outfits.
I would say that one shot on the curb is about as perfect as they come!!!
Nice work despite your opposition. I too had high ambitions of an Easter photo that were quickly dashed.
I don't know what you are talking about. The pic with Kai hugging Payton is the most precious thing there is!!! I love it. They are adorable and, of course, I love the green outfits. (Our fab fav color!) :)
those pictures were adorable, are you kidding me? I loved them, I loved their cute little outfits too!
Yeah, an update, you are awesome friend. I love the pictures. Looks like everyone had a great easter. And I cant believe how big that baby is. She has grown so much. Looks like Andrea and I have the same taste in easter dresses. It just seemed like the easy pick!
tooooo cute camille! your kids are killin' me....kai has grown up so much since we were all in the ucla ward. i LOVE payton's hair! it is so fun to see your blog....hopefully we can all get together soon. ohhh, how i miss california....you all look so incredibly blonde to me. we are all 'darkies' here up north. taylor's hair is super dark and even our little kai is not nearly as blonde. i will be happy to have my boy's back soon.
much love to you and your family!
Um, what are you talking about? You DID capture the perfect picture...that one of the two of them holding hands on the red curb is SOO stinkin' cute! They look darling, and I'm so glad you had a nice Easter weekend! Ours sucked (we were all sick) but like you, I'll be bound and determined to get some nice shots in their easter get-ups one of these days!
Love you in that color blue too btw :)
I LOVE that you are updating and I LOVE the bright Easter outfits on everyone!!! Your kids are too cute in their matching green! Miss ya!
I love Payton and Kai. They are sooooooo great! You are such a cute mom! Thanks for dinner last night!
I want no complaining from you because those are adorable pictures. I'm trying to take a picture of a three year old and a nearly one year old. Isaac won't look at me and just turns his head and crawls away. Malia won't stoop down to his level (the ground), so I pretty much gave up. Seriously!! Enough complaining. Peyton looks adorable and Kai, just too good looking. Watch out for those two in a few years, you're in for it!!! I love you and your precious family!! Hugs
Your pictures turned out adorable! Payton is so cute in her little green dress, man she is always on the run! Track Star! By the way you are totally right about being annoying, your always off the hook when you warn people!
I totally know what you mean about trying to get that perfect picture. I had the same high hopes on Sunday and ended with nothing! My kids are really unco-operative when it comes to posing. Except for Tori that is.
Lucky that you ended up with some cute ones!
What a good looking little family. You caught some great pics even if Payton does avoid the lens.
I love the Easter outfits. The kids look great. When did Kai start looking so much like you? Your kids are so cute.
So cute! Your kids are DARLING!
