One of my favorite primary songs to sing to the kids is "I Love to See the Temple". It's always been the sweetest song to me and it has always made me misty every time I hear it/sing it as an adult. So, of course, I sing it to Kai and Payton with the hopes it will be one of their favorite hymns, too. Anyhow, a few months ago, while singing this song to Payton, she just got up and started to run in circles. I was like, "OK, it's more of a reverent song, but do what you want." Now, every single time I start to sing it she stops whatever she is doing and starts to run in circles with a big smile across her face. I've sung other songs to her to see if she'll do the "jig", but she just stares at me until I'm done. But, without fail, when I sing "I Love to See the Temple" she runs in circles. Last night I got it on video. She is too funny. Take a look...

So I found your blog from other blogs a while ago and every once in a while I take a peak. I had to leave a comment here because Payton is so cute. She does this in the nursery when we sing. I love it because when I walk in she runs over so excited and gives me a hug and then when I sing (because face it, none of those kids are singing with me) she either sits in her chair and shakes her arms up and down or she gets up and runs around in circles. She gets the other girls going too. It is adorable. Thanks for sharing, I hope you don't mind me checking out your cute little family!
