and the Bunker's go bowling...

I know that I've not been the ideal blogger these days, but our little outing to Saddleback lanes was post worthy, I decided! Kai has been asking if we could go bowling a lot lately. Obviously, I am not going to do that adventure without Jared's assistance, so we had to wait for an available Saturday to go. Luckily, this past one was totally free (no extra working for J) and we were off...

We set the game up to be Kai against Payton since we knew we would be helping them so much we would get our fill. It was a pretty exciting game. It was neck and neck most of the time. I have to say that Kai is pretty good for a little guy. He even got a couple of strikes. Sure, we had those bars up to help with gutter balls, but he still rocked it! Payton, on the other hand, needed a lot more help. Turns out she was more into dancing to the groovy tunes playing on the loud speaker. Our time ended with Kai playing himself. To him...a perfect way to play a game. All in all, it was a success. The kids had fun and I got to capture some memories with the camera.

Jared getting all artistic on me
Payton shaking her tail feather...
Never get sick of that grin
...Chillin'

ok, this one was kinda set up. How cool does that look though!
Kai being very proud of his muscles
you could look at this one two ways...Daddy helping his baby OR that's a nice bum on that guy!
one of Payton's many victory dances

camille - what great pics, so great to hear from you on our blog, i had no idea you guys had one! of course, our eldest children have to be friends since they have the same name. We finish in December and plan on coming back to join the 'budget sucking mortgage' club at some point. We may be a bit south of you guys, we're not sure yet, but we'd love to hook up. We'll be down in June @ Oceanside for a week + my little bro will be getting married @ the Newport Temple. It d be great to hook up. Drop me a line -- DrSmile@u.washington.edu

So cute...i love payton shaking her buns and Kai is the cutest little boy ever. I love his style, and if possible steal the bowling shoes next time (not really) but they look so stylish on him.

Hey Cami! It's Ashley Bailey. (Melanie's friend.) Your kids are so darling. Mel told me about your blog and I love checking it out. I love Peyton's victory dancing.

Camille I'm so glad you found our blog. Your kids are so cute and so grown up. I don't recognize them all. They are beautiful just like their parents. We are really going to miss the beautiful California weather. John accepted the job at Northwestern when it was rainy and cold here, but now it's so beautiful.

SO darling, I can hardly stand it. That one of Payton dancing seriously had me laughing out loud, I almost choked on my water! What great shots and a fabulous idea I might just have to steal from you. You are such a stinkin' cute mom full of fun things to do with your kiddos!

I agree with Sara, those bowling shoes are adorable on Kai! How funny. What a fun family activity. I am with Payton - I'd rather dance than bowl! :)
